Have you found me because you're yearning for a healthier, more connected relationship? Are you finding yourself stuck in relationship patterns that leave you feeling tired and stuck, despite desperately wanting it to feel different? My guess is that if you've found yourself here on my website, you're wanting or needing support to shift things in yourself and your relationship(s), so they can feel happier and more aligned.
A bit about me… I am a couple, family and relationship therapist, working with individuals, couples and families who feel stuck in repeating relationship patterns - ongoing conflict, emotional distance, or communication that no longer feels constructive or connecting.
I've been working with people and their relationships for a decade now, and I truly believe our relationships are the foundation of our wellbeing. When relationships are disconnected or tense, it can affect every part of life - so if this is your experience, please know you're not alone! With this in mind, I truly believe that nothing is more important than working toward healthier relationships, and finding ways to work through difficult times together.
I also have a particular interest in supporting people through the many stages of parenthood - from the transition into becoming a new parent, to the ongoing demands of raising children together. As a mum myself, I understand deeply that parenthood can bring up some of the most beautiful, and most vulnerable, changes a relationship goes through and it's so important to be supported during this time if you need.
My approach is warm, direct and collaborative, with a strong focus on helping people explore the patterns shaping their relationships, supporting them to shift the cycles they get stuck in, and helping people both hear and be heard by each other.
I offer appointments via telehealth and in person in Sydney's CBD and Surry Hills. I really do understand that starting therapy can be daunting, and finding someone who's the right fit for you can take time - I offer a free 10-minute phone consultation (booking link below), and this is the best place to start. During this call, I can answer any questions you may have, and we can chat a little further to make sure we're a good fit.

It can be hard when you're ready to do couples therapy but your partner isn't. A bit of reluctance at the beginning is actually quite normal, but it is a process both people need to be willing to commit to. The best thing you can do is keep sharing with your partner why you think it would be helpful for your relationship. A few other tips: don't approach it mid-argument, acknowledge that it might feel vulnerable for them too, let them sit with it for a few days (don't push for an immediate answer), and invite them into the process of finding a therapist who feels like the right fit for you both.

Yes - for individual therapy only. With a valid Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan, a rebate of $87.25 is available for up to 10 sessions. Unfortunately, Medicare does not cover couple and family therapy
-
Yes! There is a lot of work that can be done as an individual to work toward improving your relationship(s).
-
Not necessarily. I sometimes see whole families together, and sometimes see siblings, parents, or adult children with their parents together. This depends on your family's needs and circumstances.
